Generator Adapters

This generator pigtail adapter plugs into a L5-30 outlet and allows a device with a L14-30 plug to receive power. It is commonly used to connect a power inlet box with a L14-30 configuration to a generator without having to rewire the setup. The single 125V hot wire from the L5-30 configuration is split to provide power to both hot wires needed for the L14-30. Both the male plug and female connector are fully molded on this adapter.

This plug adapter converts a L5-30 outlet into a L5-20 outlet, allowing devices with that plug configuration to receive power. Since this adapter is not waterproof, it is not recommended to use in wet/damp locations.

This adapter cord can convert the L5-30 outlet, commonly found on generators, and allows  50 amp devices with a SS2-50 plug, such as a large RV or boat, to receive power.
