This pigtail adapter cord plugs into the standard 30A RV outlet (TT-30), which is also commonly found on generators. It has a 50A 125/250V locking connector (SS2-50) for powering large RVs, boats, backup generator systems, and other devices. The female connector has a threaded ring that screws around a sealing collar or inlet to protect the connection from water damage. The male plug comes in a standard flat design to allow the RV pedestal to fully close.

This NEMA 5-15P to NEMA L5-30R pigtail adapter powers a boat or RV with a 30A connection from a 15A standard household outlet. The female connector features a LED power indicator light and a threaded ring that screws around the inlet to create a watertight seal, while a locking screw on the male plug tightens the ground pin to keep the connection from accidentally unplugging. This adapter comes in a bright yellow color for easy visibility.
