This 30A pigtail adapter converts a TT-30 outlet, commonly found at RV parks and on generators, and allows a device with a L14-30 plug to receive power. It is ideal for powering a backup system with a L14-30 inlet box when only a TT-30 outlet is available on the generator. This adapter splits the single 125V hot wire from the TT-30 outlet to the two needed for the L14-30 connection.
